Our Falconry

Hawking About was formed in , starting out initially as a hobby for Kevin our head falconer with his first Harris Hawk named Aimee and then over the years developing the skills to train a growing collection of Birds Of Prey including Owls, Hawks & Falcons.

We provide private experience days, educational visits, WI Talks, flying and static displays and have built up an impressive portfolio over the years attending some of the top tourist attractions in the South Of England including Arundel Castle, Parham House, Petworth Park & National Trust Sites.

Our fully interactive private experiences which include Owl Encounters and Hawk Walks have earnt us a top rating on Trip Advisor.

As we are not a centre that is open to the public you get to experience flying our beautiful birds free in natural surroundings in the heart of the Sussex countryside.

Our Falconry displays are not only educational but we also combine an element of entertainment and interaction for the public, we fly mainly native birds including our Barn Owl, Kestrel & Peregrine Falcon and offer Medieval style displays or a more traditional feel and we cover the whole of the UK.
